An area in Decline: Our story begins in the villages around Buhari. For years, the area had grappled with poverty, a lack of job opportunities, and declining agricultural yields. The villagers, despite their hard work, found it increasingly difficult to make ends meet. Hope was in short supply.

Supported by favorable agro climatic conditions, the output of the okra increased. Many exporters started procuring and exporting okra to various places in European and Asian countries. As a result, Buhari area began to thrive economically.

The once-desolate villages had turned into thriving communities with access to higher disposable incomes, private vehicles and economic opportunities. The lives of the villagers had been uplifted, and a sense of pride and hope now pervaded the village.
